to Isla Negra, to see Pablo Neruda´s house. I had been to La Chascona, his house in Santiago, so I expected some unusual and exciting things at his Isla Negra house as well. The tour was informative, but went by too fast - we all had questions to ask our guide, but she had to lead another group.

After seeing Pablo Neruda´s house, my brother and stepfather decided to play near the rocks by the ocean. My brother put his shoes on a rock and began walking on the sand. Suddenly, a large wave came up and took his shoes away! Everyone began laughing and screaming as he tried to get his shoes out of the water without becoming soaked. Eventually, he got them out, but he was miserable the rest of the day in soggy sneakers.
